Silver Coin - 50 Shillings I.
The 50 Schilling Type I (Form I) coin is an Austrian commemorative silver coin minted by the Austrian Mint between 1959 and 1973.This series is very popular among collectors because, unlike the later Type II (from the 1970s), these coins have a significantly higher silver content and are more valuable. Each year, coins were released with unique designs commemorating prominent Austrian personalities (e.g., Andreas Hofer, Jakob Prandtauer) or historical events (e.g., 100 years since the founding of the Künstlerhaus artists' association).
