Silver coin - 100 Shillings I. Form Silber
The 100 Schilling Type I (Form I) coin is an Austrian commemorative silver coin minted by the Austrian Mint between 1974 and 1979. This series directly preceded the second type (from the 1990s) and is specific because the coins are larger and heavier, but have a lower silver content. Each year, coins were released with different designs commemorating significant anniversaries, historic buildings, or Austrian federal states (e.g., 1200 years of the city of Salzburg, the 1976 Innsbruck Winter Olympics, or the opening of the UN building in Vienna).
